Independent league teams will line up for the guy because he'd be great for selling tickets. But just like his ego won't let him play arena ball or in Canada, he probably won't "lower" himself to an independent. He's a heck of an athlete and was very good in High School baseball, but I can't see him doing anything but maybe A ball.

Nothing wrong with just making A ball. Nothing wrong with having a short NFL career. Nothing wrong with having a great college career. I'm sure he has done more with his life then you or I will ever do. Plus he has more money then you could wish to ever have. It's his life and has nothing to do with ego. Stick to playing video games in your parents basement. Peace.

If you google Tim Tebow net worth, you get $3million. I doubt that is "more money than you could wish to ever have". I suspect Tim is worth much more than $3 million, but I doubt he is worth as much as you think.

His BP was good.

His vs live pitching was not good.

He showed average speed average glove, but below average arm.

I heard he looked more like a punt returner than an OF.

He's stuck in LF. And he's like a 35 hit tool.

He probably had a shot if he stuck with baseball early on, but he did ok with football. He's no Cam Newton (in college or the pros) but just playing college football puts you in like the top 1% of all players.

No, you're wrong. It is about ego. He should've played indy ball, then winter ball, he would've had a better chance than doing this. Or maybe he falls on his face in the winter league and realizes this has no shot of happening. Either way it's a better way than what he's doing now.

Tebow needs to just accept the fact he was a great college athlete and move on.

He is becoming the poster child of washed up jocks that can't let go.

If Tebow can't change his throwing motion after three years of working on it how the hell can he learn to hit a curve ball. arguably the hardest thing to do in sports?

Move on, go into politics, get a hobby, start a business, but time to move on.
You tryin to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball!?!

Actually the SEC network was perfect for him.

Maybe start some kind of christian athlete group/ministry on the side.

I expect Arte the Idiot to offer Tebow 7yrs and 23mil per. Moreno knows a bidding war when he sees one and he isn't missing out on this.

I'd be happy with this outcome. Fuck the Angels. I hope Trout gets out of that dumpster fire of a sports franchise soon.

It's a shame the best player in the world is stuck in the middle of nowhere and seen by no one.

Tim Tebow gets offer to play baseball for Bridgeport Bluefish
But the Bluefish are the exact type of team Tebow was trying to avoid, an organization that seems to have cornered the market on ridiculous gimmicks to hype ticket sales.

If you need further proof, just look at their dugout on Friday night when they take on the South Maryland Blue Crabs. The Bluefish “hired” members of wrestling’s NWO — Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and X-Pac (Sean Waltman) — to manage the team for one night.
