Yeah, ya got me. :L

I hate when cities steal teams and keep their names. They should change them like the Ravens did so the Browns can always be Cleveland, even when it isn't the same browns. I always think of the Rams as LA too even though it was 20 years since they left.

True. The Oilers are now the Titans and Houston is new with the Texans. Gets confusing sometimes as to what team has the history follow them. To my knowledge only the Browns kept that history ...not the Ravens...when they became a team again.

One of the things that makes repeating less likely is the weighted schedule and that only impacts two games. Seattle has to play GB and the Panthers because of it while the Cardinals get the Lions and Falcons while only finishing a couple of games behind last season. Fortunately the 9'ers don't get that much of a break playing Chicago and NO instead of GB and Carolina. But both playing the AFC west is worse than every other division in the NFC. It just is. Likewise, the Broncos have a tougher schedule than your team does because of which NFC division each plays, but the difference isn't much as you both play each other.

If Seattle is good enough to even be in the discussion they should win at least 10 anyway or it was irrelevant. We are talking about the difference between a 10-6 wildcard or 4th seed division winner vs a 12 or 13 win HFA and what type of path to the SB each has.

Those few swing games matter.

That's the way it should be done. Even when OKC took our basketball team they at least had the decency to rename them so we can keep that legacy here when our time comes to get basketball back here again.

Plus it helps us older people from getting confused before our first cup of coffee.

This makes me wonder if the Titans were named the Oilers ,would they have kept that history in Houston? As if they didn't move like the Browns did? I think I need a beer!

Of course every game matters. But the AFC West isn't scarier than most other divisions.

Last year, the Chargers won:

@Philly,
v Dallas,
v Colts,
@ KC,
@ Denver,
v KC,

And @ Cincy in the playoffs...

And they were the 3rd best team in the division. Pretty scary division imo.

When Rodgers has a full cast of healthy receivers and he is healthy himself, no one can stop him. I'm sorry but i don't care who your defense is. (I'm talking to you Seattle) you guys know it too. When Rodgers is 100% it's almost impossible to beat him.

Oh man... How many times does it take to realize good defense always beats good offense...

Wow. You sound just like the national sports media did when they were slobbering all over Peyton Manning's nuts before the Super Bowl. Look how that turned out.

Aaron Rodgers is good. He's damn good. But I hope you're prepared to eat those words. They will be brought up should Seattle win. Fair warning.

Favorite from the AFC has to still be Denver I think. Pats, Bengals, Ravens are probably next.

NFC?? There is legitimately about 10 teams who could go the SB. Hawks, SF, Cards, GB, Bears, Saints, Panthers, Eagles, and maybe a couple other darker horses.

I'd say there is actually a decent shot at seeing a SB rematch, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

A team who lost to the chargers is not close to a sb. They need to win a playoff game and they have not faced Manning or Brady yet in the postseason either. Ravens? Um, not without Lewis's leadership and that was obvious after last season. I think colts are not getting enough respect, they got Nicks to go with Wayne and Hilton and do not have distraction Brown for Richardson. Luck if he can get HFA will be tough to beat. And steelers.......will be back.
