I haven't been able to play it yet but reddit is convinced that its the end of the world now that they have to shoot things with primary weapons.
I like that part. Although they have already said they are going to tweak ammo drops.
There are also a couple of Supers that aren't in their correct spec so you'll likely have people complaining about the Warlock being underpowered in PVP and Golden Gun not lasting long enough but thats because the beta doesnt have the right perk set unlocked for PVP imo.
Agreed. My only real grip with the supers was that it took too long to charge them which they said they are fixing.
Hunter in general looks like its in a weird spot. With Arc Strider you can run through a lot of the content by just spamming Dodge, Melee, Dodge, Melee, Dodge, Melee, Dodge, Melee. It looks really out of place but I guess its not anything game breaking. When Raids come around, though, Arc Strider has zero support abilities and will see zero use I'd imagine.
Wasn't that pretty much the same case in D1?
I think 4v4 PVP isnt too bad due to the map size but I'm hearing solo players are getting totally crushed in PVP as expected.
I'm liking what I'm seeing out of Destiny 2 even if its not reinventing the wheel or anything.
Playing solo definitely seemed to be a disadvantage but I suspect as you get more comfortable with the maps it won't be so bad.
I'm happy the didn't reinvent the wheel with D2. D1 was one of my favorite games of all time and I was really just hoping for a big update to that game rather than a totally new game.
