I'll gladly take Parker at #20 but he shouldn't be available then. I love me some Devin Smith though

Me to. I was lucky enough to see a couple of games at "The Shoe." the man has great speed and very good hands. He's been on a few highlight reels

He makes some of the sickest catches. Love his focus and ability to adjust to the ball in the air. Fantastic body control, hand to eye coordination, hands in general, and deep speed. Very explosive kid who's tough, a competitor, and will go out there and fight for the ball every down.

If the Chipper gets Murray and can go and get Rahim Moore then I would be much happier with FA even though it was a backasswards one.

Then the draft we could go WR/OG in the first two rounds and BPA from then on.

Would love to see Rashad Greene on the Eagls but he probably doesn't fit Chips mold of big guys beat up little guys.

If Bradford is healthy we win 13. The D looks like it will be special and Bradford can play. We need another CB, S, G and this team is badass. If Bradford gets hurt we're 10-6. Although the health factor takes a huge leap of faith, I'm 100% with Chip. Systems win unless you're a superstar and we have a system.

System gets to you NFCC games.
Superstars get to you to the SB

Nick Foles is glad to be out of Philadelphia.

Foles, the former Eagles quarterback who was traded to the Rams for Sam Bradford and draft picks yesterday, apparently wanted to leave. Sal Paolantonio of ESPN said on 97.5 The Fanatic that a Foles relative described Foles as ecstatic to no longer be an Eagle.

“I just talked to a member of Nick Foles’s family. He is absolutely pumped, overjoyed he’s out of Philly,” Paolantonio said.

WOW.

You have to wonder what other FA's are thinking about PHI anymore, or if the FO even cares. Then again, if you think your system is so great that you don't need quality FA's... well...

Get a safety in here!

The secondary still isn't good enough.

Foles is just happy to be in a place where his performance isn't constantly judged. He'll fit in nicely in St. Louis.

I am sure Foles is happy, he has been in limbo for months. Now he is going to a team that wants him.

I'll still keep the Eagles at a 9-7 at best kind of record (similar to 2011 I believe when everyone was crowning them and I called them 9-7 at best, ended 8-8).

The QB position is HIGHLY questionable. Bradford has proven time and again he cannot stay healthy and while this may be his year, I'm not going to bet on it. Even then, he's never proven he can lead a team to anything great. So even if he stays healthy, there's nobody to say he's going to throw 4K yards, 30 TDs, etc.

I don't believe in Sanchez AT ALL. Too many turnovers with him.

EDIT: Sorry Eagles fans. Didn't realize I somehow got on your board (thought this was still general). Not here to troll or bring any negativity. Mods, feel free to delete if necessary. Will still leave my original comment up in case someone wants to have a mutual discussion.

QB - Bradford for Foles. Upgraded
RB - Murray for McCoy. Upgraded
TE - Same
OL - Same. They can get the same production internally they got from Herremans.
WR - Lost a great player. Down graded

DL - Same
OLB - Graham for Cole. Downgraded, but there was no way to keep both. They kept the younger guy.
ILB - Added Alonso. Upgraded
Safety - Same. Allen for a street FA is a wash.
Corner - Fletcher and Williams gone. Added Maxwell and Thurmond. Upgrade.

So they are 4-2 right now in improving the team. 4-1 if you don't count the OLB situation.

They could add CB, OG, Safety and WR in the draft and be pretty well off right now.

We are a playoff team if everyone can stay healthy. I've been researching a bit about Bradford's ACL issues, they're saying it was one of those freak deals (kind of similar to what Jason Peters experienced with his Achilles re-tear) and he admitted that he tried to rehab too quickly that may have led to the re-injury. If he's good to go and Chip has the power back he covets in Murray, then he's going to be able to control the pace and set the tempo better than he was able to do last year.

The defense is better overall, I think Kiko, Maxwell and Thurmond were great additions, but they still need a competent safety next to Jenkins. Not much in the draft and they may not have much to buy one in FA after the Murray signing.

At present the D is only slightly better. All we've done is add a bona fide cb. We're still missing another cb and a safety. Everyone else is just a body. Neither Carroll nor Watkins could move a crappy fletcher and Thurmond is a career body. 6-7 years in the league bouncing around and suddenly he's the answer? C'mon man.

Even with Sanchez at qb Kelly was able to put points on the board. What he needs to do is fix the defence. My bet would be he goes CB if he can in the 1st round and fill in the holes with the rest.

You have to believe we're going heavy on the run this year in order to help protect Bradford. So guard is important. And you really need to have a bona fide downfield threat at WR to keep the defence honest. Problem is he also needs to draft another RB (or sign one assuming Murray is a hoax) and he needs a developmental QB, just in case. With only six picks that's a lot of asking.

RE Murray.
I read somewhere that there has never been an instance where a player has had as many carries as Murray did last year (and yards) and come back to repeat or come close to that type of season. NEVER. Assuming that he's an upgrade is hoping, not reality.
