I had to forego my co-owners advice for the first pick(7th round) because both Bumgarner and Strasburg were not kept and I have wanted Strasburg for a long time.

Other than my first pick I focused on hitting like co-owner wanted and punted saves. Also, I feel I'm strong at infield but maybe a little weaker at outfield. And I don't have a backup 2b so that could be a bit of a worry if Rendon gets hurt. I took pitching at rounds 7, 12, 14, 18, 22, and 23 and two relievers at 24/25 and 29(last round). I started out filling up OF depth with two of the next three after Stras getting Santana between and Wright after.

I couldn't find any 2b on FA that has anything I like yet. But I definitely feel this team will finally contend. I mean it was contending before but when I tried to fix a weakness I took a nose dive. Nos has said nothing so far so idk if he saw my messages or doesn't like the team.

Its the one I have been in for going on six years, the 11x7 roto league. I added Drew, who is 2b eligible. I think its possible Cabrera will get at bats at 2b because the starter is Schoop for Os and he's not that good.

I'd grab him. Not like you'll miss Drew. Guerrero could end up in a good situation like Toronto or something. Or ya never know, the Dodgers could plop him at 3rd and he could trump Uribe.

Off to the start I was hoping. I should have started LaRoche today though but am rolling the dice on Napoli given the matchup. I need a hit from Napoli, which he has not had so far, to win the hits. I'm either gonna win 10-6, 9-6, 9-7, or 8-7(depending on Napoli's batting average, I'm up .300 atm with 1 player).

I screwed up in BS, Otero got a BS. But I was able to win Ks and WHIP and tied in wins.

Bad week this week but Wright got hurt to go along with Rendon already on DL. On top of me having trouble with the 2b spot. I whiffed big time on Guerrerro. So having trouble there, I was using Micah, then Beckman, now I'm gonna see what Prado does. I was only able to win steals and dps on hitting and Ks and wins on pitching. This was a week I could have used a closer or extra reliever and made it to possibly 6 categories taking ERA and WHIP. All four of my pitchers today did well pitching 6+ innings, 5+Ks, and 2 or less earned runs. Wasn't enough because a closer kept the opponent from being passed.

I thought he was not gonna start every game and picked up Micah Johnson and dropped him. He was still there the first week and experts were making it seem like he's not gonna play every day. I also believed Martinez would not make rotation and dropped him before season started.

Despite those two blunders, I had a nice 10-4-4 win this week and starting the first three weeks 20-10-6 against the two division rivals.

Stockpiling has not worked for me. I have to have depth to replace starters on Mondays and Thursdays since all the teams do not play on those days. I waited for Myers, Tavares and as a result I fell back in the standings.

McCarthy has season ender but I claimed Shoemaker.

I need to know if its time to field offers for a 2b/3b until Rendon and Wright return and who should I deal to get one? I drafted a very injury-prone team this year. Whenever they are healthy I may decide to deal one of them for whatever pitcher I traded.

I'm thinking now might be time to drop Kris Davis. I just added Hamilton for a pitcher I was streaming, picked up Alvarez for Desciafani who appears to be regressing. But Rosario is on FA and Ramos doesn't even play on day games following night games and the only droppable options are Davis and Pilar.

I'm looking to be five games out of the division. I have to start cutting back on playing the pitchers every start because the ERA/WHIP is important for me. I'm not playing Hamels today and Tuesday don't plan on playing Nelson.
