the thing is..in a 20 round ..draft...im thinking..they take more ss..and cf..than other positions...then i can (for example)..send a cf..from modesto
to everett..cuz an outfield got injured...in the example above...i can send...any..of the 3...
drafting this way..should give you ..built in defence

and still get more outfield guys...in ...after draft free agents

I will give it a try, but in reality I have no clue.

  1. SS Matt McLain, UCLA
McLain opted to honor his commitment to UCLA after the Diamondbacks made him the No. 25 overall pick in the 2018 draft, and after struggling his freshman season, he has developed into the top college middle infielder in the 2021 class. After a slow start to the season, he's now hitting .325/.432/.578 with 19 extra-base hits and nine steals. With a 60-grade hit tool, speed tool and arm, he has impact potential up the middle.

For the record, I think they continue to go pitcher with the 1st round pick. Painter is a guy that fits their style. I know very little about him, but that is my gut guess at this point.

while it seems..starting pitching...is not deep this year..and the good starters...will..go fast..so getting 2 or 3 in the top of the draft would be good
it does not..have to be a #1 pick
that said

guys like
Bennett HostetlerNorth Dakota StateSS.394.515.5961.111541884774121853193135182
are at the top..of the stats...but not at the top of the draft prospects
and they will..be drafted..but who knows when
but there will be a lot of
after draft..free agents as well
they will sign every guy ..on there list..if they can
and some guys may have a choice..of 2 or 3 teams..they could..sign with

Named to the WBSC's All-World Team in the starting pitcher role... tied for a team-high 10 innings across two starts at the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup in David, Panama, including the gold medal game against Panama (8/19), where he went 5.1 frames, striking out five... tossed 4.2 scoreless frames against Brazil (8/15), striking out a team-high eight and allowing just one walk...

yeah..so that is darn good...i would say...he is the best ...HS..pitcher..in his class...the class..of 2021

i have not even considered..painter.....until..now...cuz i have to listen ..myself...
he is 6-6..he is the best HS..pitcher..in this class..well they say...Jackson Jobe..but they think.he will be gone at #7

painter as you say...is a seattle style pitcher
sense Gunnar Hoglund..fell in the rankings..from being injured..and then having tj...he was up to around 10 or 11..where the mariners..i thought..may have a chance at him..but now..he is at 23..and .im not even thinking ..about hoglund..as a #1
some had ty madden slipping
i can not understand..what..Sal Frelick..is doeing..ranked that high
Matt McLain...to me should be ranked lower..with a .957..fielding stat close to the same as jackson glenn..and there are better hitters at the poistion
goosenberg..13 HRS..8-0..base stealing

who..could ..make the list

Colton Cowser..ia a haniger type..that hits L/L..he can play..cf..but he is better off..in RF..witch..is why..i take 2 more CF guys..when i drafted him..in the mock the question is can i get guys like cowser lower in the draft

there are high school pitchers who garner a lot of attention because of huge raw stuff, and there are prep arms who have an advanced feel for pitching. When the two come together in one prospect, there’s the chance for something special. Painter showed off that exciting combination of raw stuff and feel for pitching at a number of showcase events over the summer to establish himself as one of the best high school pitchers in the 2021 Draft class.

Painter delivers a legitimate four-pitch mix from a 6-foot-6 frame and has a very advanced feel for his gameplan on the mound. He typically sits in the 93-95 mph range and touches 96 with his fastball. He utilizes both a two- and four-seamer and likes to elevate to get swings and misses up in the zone. He throws both a 12-to-6 type curveball in the upper 70s and a mid-80s slider, and he flashed a potentially plus changeup over the summer.

Despite his size, Painter is very athletic on the mound and repeats his delivery extremely well, throwing all four pitches for strikes with a chance he’ll have plus control and command in the future. And while he’s already strong, there’s projection in his frame, and he could throw harder as he matures. Committed to Florida, Painter should be one of the first high

i did not know..who...the mariners should pick..at 12..and there still is some question...cuz its like when a stock rises..everyone wants to get some
but if it is a choice..of
painter
cowser
or mcLain
then i think..it has to be painter....so i will mock..him as #12..and play with the lower rounds....LOl

with a big lump of pitchers at..everett..taking a HSpitcher..is ok..and maybe better than ..ok

No player in this Draft creates more split opinions on whether he has a brighter future as a hitter or pitcher than Schwellenbach. Though the Indians drafted him in the 34th round as a pitcher out of a Michigan high school in 2018, he didn't take the mound in college until this spring because of an elbow injury that he sustained as a prepster and required a ligament repair procedure after his freshman year at Nebraska. He has displayed three quality pitches as a closer in 2021 and some clubs envision him as a mid-rotation starter, while others think he could sneak into the first round as a shortstop.

The Cornhuskers have handled Schwellenbach's arm carefully and had used him for just eight innings through mid-April, but that and fall practice has been enough to show the makings of three plus pitches. He strolls in from shortstop at the end of games and unleashes 94-97 mph fastballs that have peaked at 99, low-80s sliders and mid-80s changeups with power sink. He commands all three offerings well with a simple delivery and definitely has the look of a starter, though it's unclear if he could handle that workload. Scouts have noted some parallels to Jacob deGrom, who barely pitched before his junior year at Stetson.

While everyone loves Schwellenbach's pure stuff on the mound, there's more divergence about his value as a position player, with some teams seeing him fitting in the top two rounds and others valuing him five rounds lower. His biggest backers see him as an improving right-handed hitter who generates huge exit velocities and flashes plus running times, while others see his bat, power and speed as more ordinary. He obviously has a strong arm, and while he has a good internal clock at shortstop, the consensus is that his range is more suited for second or third base.

A solid runner, Bliss has good hands and instincts on defense. He covers ground at shortstop and tries to compensate for fringy arm strength with a quick release, but he'll likely move to second base in pro ball. He has the tools to become a plus defender at the keystone.

so..anyone that drafts him...is prob getting a 2B...365 ave428 obp 654 slg...15 HRs..45 RBi..23 bb only 30 strike outs..in 211 at bats
