I'm with you. When the SB is over, sports are done until preseason starts. If Goodell sticks around I may not even bother with it next season. Sick of hearing about fines and suspensions.

The wife and I signed up for the gym. She is battling cancer and a little bit of training may help. If someone has experience with weight training for cancer patients send me a PM. My biggest concern is the physiological effects and what needs to be avoided. I was NSCA certified many years ago but this is above my paygrade. I see lots of study in my near future.

I wish you and your wife nothing but the best god bless you two. I was a personal trainer in the past I would say just eat right and not push her to hard, cancer takes a lot of energy from their body to fight it, but it is a fight she will win.

I second that. Plus a positive mental attitude. The mind is incredibly strong. People beat cancer every day.

8 months with no football now. I hate losing the SB yesterday but I equally hate waiting so long to watch football again.

I wish I could just hibernate, wake up, and it would be September.

March Madness+NBA Playoffs coming up. NHL Playoffs as well & Spring Training right around the corner. I love football, but there's going to be plenty of things coming up in the next couple months. It's that gap once basketball is over and it's JUST baseball that sucks.

I'm pretty good without football up until the end of June. Getting through July with just baseball is rough.
