What exactly do those two teams have in common with Alabama and LSU? Wasn't their combined score in their game something like 79 points? You are comparing apples and oranges. The only thing that these four teams have in common is that they were both #1 and #2 when they played each other. That is all... There is nothing to point to that would indicate LSU and Alabama will get blown out in their bowl games.

You are right. 2006 Michigan and OSU were WAY more dominating than either LSu or Bama has been this year.

You're talking about the teams that lost both their bowl games?

Yep. In the regular season prior to the bowls ( which is what we are talking about). Both Michigan and OSU were way more dominating than LSU and Bama have been thus far. Not even close really. Of course then they lost their bowls but that is not relevant to a discussion of whether or not a rematch should have taken place or whether it should take place this year since we have no idea how LSU and Bama will fare in their bowls.
