What is going on now is that NY is in the refs ear through out the game.
So what you have is just a couple higher ups in the NFL dictating what happens.

I don't think the games are rigged per se, but the rules on taunting are extremely soft and white.

That’s what I think also, players just play, but the refs can definitely rig a game if they chose, it’s such a fine balance from winning or losing in the NFL and a call or 2 can absolutely effect the outcome…
