I know the season is dead but more importantly how is everyone holding up?

I'm still working at the dealer but at limited hours at my day job at a VW Dealer.
Been real busy with my website development stuff with more people needed to bring their services online with zoom and what not.

So how's everyone else?

I work in a medical lab. One of our tests is Covid19. Thought we would be safe. All other testing has dropped 50%. Work has said furloughs( unemployment with hope of re hire) to start next week.
So you guys could be paying me starting next week to watch Netflix

Real Estate Brokerage has slowed way down, but we are considered "essential" so unemployment not an option. I also flip houses and luckily just purchased a fixer right before this all started, so that has given me something to work on otherwise I would be pulling my hair out. I'm not one to sit still.

Made it through the first wave of furloughs
But they want to cut my hours by a day.
Fortunately I have 330 hours vacation saved but I hate using it to sit at home

I work in the computer industry and its been crazy. The day all of this started seems like every laptop and desktop computer in the industry was purchased. Fortunately our company was deemed "essential" so some of us are lucky to be working from home. It has taken some getting used to but I am definitely getting some cabin fever. I have to take some time daily to just get out of the house for a bit.

Quick update from my end.

I've known some of you guys back from the ESPN days and even though most of you have I haven't met in real life I've grown to see you as personal friends. We share a common interest in the Kings and hockey in general among other things. Some of you I've met like Puck, Ox, Londave and more so there's some sort of bond.

It's with a heavy heart that I wanted to share with you guys that my Father passed away this morning at the age of 83. Not Covid-19 related. He was a kind a gentle man and was loved many.

Just felt it was appropriate to share since some of us have been through a few ups and downs not only with this teams success and failers but with general life as well. You guys are like some weird online dysfunctional extension of family.

Hope you guys are all doing well.

Man I am so sorry to hear that. We all have shared personal stories here over the last 20+ years, and yeah it is like an extension of a bizzaro family. I hope you and yours can find some peace, I know how hard it is to lose a parent as you guys all know.
