If we are being honest the only reason this is a discussion is because the 2 loss team is Bama

If you switched these teams resumes and results there isn't a person in the free world who would be advocating for a 2 loss TCU who's best win was over 4 loss Texas to get on over a loss Bama

I see what you're saying. A couple of losses early on, but went on a tear after that. And as I type this, it's looking like TCU is trying to find a way to lose this and make things even tougher. The one thing to take into account is the SEC's popularity. I think the committee would probably rather have another sec team get in as opposed to a BIG or PAC team.

I don't see them putting in a two loss Bama team with no signature wins over OSU. If K State holds on and wins it might push TCU out and put Bama in over them, but two losses is hard to argue against. I can't see moving two teams sitting on the couch this weekend benefitting and going in.

The win versus TEXAS as a common opponent in Austin really helps TCU as well as only 1-loss.

As a horns fan, TCU kicked our asses. Only a fluke meaningless fumble TD late when TCU was about to go up 24-3, made it 17-10 instead.
At no point in time was Texas ever a threat to win.

I feel Texas was the better team versus Alabama though.....even with our second string QB having to finish the second half.
Some questionable calls all went the Tide's way to help them eke out a one point last second win.

2 loss teams should almost never get in over 1 loss P5 conf teams. There can be exceptions, of course, but they should be clear and obvious to all.
