So again... do you really think our defense can be counted on to stop any one?? Sure we get lucky once in a while. But you do realize we have given up more rushing TDs than any team in the league right?? The sooner we realize that our defense sucks moose nuts, the sooner we can hope our GM actually addresses it. We need to replace 2/3's of the D-line, at minimum 2 of our 4 LB's and we need two starters in the secondary.

Meaning there was no down side to it either. Aside from possibly admitting that we have no faith in a shitty defense, there was no negative in attempting an onsides kick in a game where we were losing any way.
