Meaning there was no down side to it either. Aside from possibly admitting that we have no faith in a shitty defense, there was no negative in attempting an onsides kick in a game where we were losing any way.

We could have given Dallas the ball on the one yard line in London and they still would have scored a rushing TD on us in Texas. You are trying to say we should have had faith in a defense that inspires one to drink heavily and often when they are on the field. If we had show ANY ability to stop Dallas I would agree with you. But seriously, you think 15 yards would have really made a difference?? So they got it on the 40 instead of the 25... .if our defense was ANY good at all we hold them to a field goal.. .instead the bend over and take it defense.... did just that.

Sharpe appears to make a good pt about Kerrigan & Smith freelancing on D & letting the Boys get extra yds either on the ground or by extending pass plays. I hope that this is not totally accurate. If so this is an indictment of both the coaching staff & the players.

Doesn't matter. The defense made the play to win the game. You have to give credit to the defense in this situation.

I got to call BS on him hoping the Skins resign Cousins. The last thing a division rival actually wants is for another division team to sign a QB long term. Because the reality is, if you aint looking for a QB, you are busy filling other needs in the draft and to a degree free agency. SO here is to Kirk performing well enough down the stretch to get that long term deal so we can start pumping resources into the D-line, secondary, Line Backers and maybe a little more talent on the O-line.

That is crazy. A lot of people disagreed with Gruden on the first onside kick. That is all im saying.
