Snyder issues cease and desist letter to Lavar

This is where Danny gets his reputation. He has issued a cease and desist letter to Lavar over a football camp flyer that Lavar has issued depicting him in a Redskins uniform and referencing him as a Redskins great. Cmon Danny, stop being so petty. Lavar is a pain in your ass, but a very minor one. Show some maturity and class and just be bigger than this.

Maybe Snyder doesn't see Lavar as a "Great" but as you've said that is just an opinion, turns out everyone gets one and when they clash it doesn't rise to getting a cease and desist. Just curious, does the same rules for college athletes apply to pro players when it comes to marketing their images in or out of uniform? Seems to me that if a former player has photos of himself in his private collection he should be able to use it as he sees fit.

The NFL is a business and Snyder is protecting his business, no matter how little or petty people think it is. Lavar is using his former team/employer to promote something for his own good. I don't listen to him on the radio, but if he's as bad as people make him out to be, can't really blame Snyder. If he was in good standing with the FO, I'm sure this would be a non issue.

One ass says to the other "cease and desist." These two have been fighting for years. Although I think Dan should have left well enough alone Arrington takes every shot he can at the organization. As far as I am concerned I would love it if he ceased and desisted the Washington DC area.

Dan & Lavar have been at odds for years. Lavar's anger dates back to when he indicated Dan owed him money after he left for the Giants I believe. Leaving for a division rival pissed Dan off since the Skins drafted Lavar out of PSU. These two men need to leave well enough alone however, Lavar taking constant shots at the organization doesn't help.
