Game Thread: SNF: Redskins @ Cowboys (Week 6)

Those last two minutes were a total failure by the Redskins' coaching staff. There is no reason for RG3 to let the clock go down and to rush a critical 3rd down play Then to follow it up we get down deep in their territory and we let the clock go down to 15 seconds instead of using a TO there. Makes no sense whatsoever. Really ticked right now. We played better than the score shows that half. Frustrating.

The clock management was horrid. But that's not necessarily just a Redskins problem, it's mostly a league wide problem. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part NFL coaches just don't seem to understand the game clock. Maybe they have too much to do?

Not the current special teams coach. He looks like he might be in over his head. They have no return game and now appear to have all types of issues with the punting game (& last week with the fake).

This guy better prove himself over the remainder of the year or he is toast. If they don't get better in that area just consider it a failed experiment.

while there is no excuse for the mistakes/penalites/missed tackles on defense ... they have only given up 7 points & you can not win games by scoring field goals. Need to come out and score a TD to start the second half and we're right back in this.

It's kind of a microcosm of our season so far - so close, but frustrating and bad. It has been a pretty good game though.

I'm nervous b/c our defense finally does a great job and the offense and special teams are letting them down. 6 points against this team's defense is ridiculous.

We only hve 6 points due to terrible coaching. Play calling at critical moments has been horrendous and our clock management was bush league in that last drive.

Once again our Oline has been blown up through the middle. Montgomery is just too small and weak. Licth is having a terrible game. There is no pocket for RG3 to step up into.
