I enjoy watching Smoot and Springs. They bring a good combination of emotion and logic.
Smoot made reference to how the Giants and Packers continually get guys in the late rounds and as UDFA's that contribute to the team, and that we simply have not done that. Time for a look at the organizational chart, and an understanding of who is evaluating talent for us and why we have not found more diamonds in the rough. Can anyone argue against this?

To a lesser extent, why dont we have guys who we thought could be late round starters playing here anymore...

Chris horton, bacarri rambo come to mind. These guys seem were prime candidates to be good and then we just ditched out on them, when they might've been key players to develop.
