Smoking a brisket

So...twelve hours later...
I started fat side up, flipped it every few hours.
Got the temp down to 250ish, took it off the grill last night about 9:00, internal temp at 165.
Let it cool about two hours and put it in the fridge.
Put it in the oven in the same pan of cider and fat about 2 hours ago to bring it back up to temp.

Smells great in here.
Wish me luck, I'll post later!

I don't know, seemed like the thing to do. It was my first brisket.
It was in the cider bath, I did not want one side to be dried out.

Good news, it turned out freaking AWESOME.
Many many compliments. Softer than pudding and GREAT flavor!!

Team lost today, but brisket was a winner.
