Its amazing how places like "happy valley" routinely pull 100k ppl into the stadium............INSANE more seats than the pros, and sold out
Then you have a team, like my team, PITT. Playing in an NFL stadium, and pulling 30k in sales with 20k showing up, place barely half full..............
disheartening
Large cities have a much more difficult time selling out for college football. The pros generally can outdraw them and there is a great deal more to do in larger metro areas.
Everyplace that sells out for college football is in small towns or lacks other sports as competitors.

I went to Pitt for my doctorate. Part if it is the off campus stadium, I think.
in the last 20 years, Pitt has been below .500 nine times, and at .500 one time.
they lost 7 games last year, and 7 games the year before.
what, exactly, would be the attraction to Pitt football??
