Its amazing how places like "happy valley" routinely pull 100k ppl into the stadium............INSANE more seats than the pros, and sold out

Then you have a team, like my team, PITT. Playing in an NFL stadium, and pulling 30k in sales with 20k showing up, place barely half full..............

disheartening:noidea:

Teams in NFL cities don't draw that well really. Not compared to the upper echelon.

yeah i mean its like that alot of places.........

Just seems like they would be able to pack a stadium..........

tickets are dirt cheap too

Club seats..........5-10 rows behind the benches on the 50 yard line are a whopping 20 bucks for pitt games

you seem to think that a couple of bad years and nobody shows up.
in elite programs, built over generations, fans aren't going to all of a sudden "not show up"
it isn't some unlimited license though.

When was the last time Pitt was relevant???
And all of a sudden, the stands are suppose to be full??

I don't get it.

Large cities have a much more difficult time selling out for college football. The pros generally can outdraw them and there is a great deal more to do in larger metro areas.

Everyplace that sells out for college football is in small towns or lacks other sports as competitors.

in the last 20 years, Pitt has been below .500 nine times, and at .500 one time.
they lost 7 games last year, and 7 games the year before.
what, exactly, would be the attraction to Pitt football??
