Yep & it is good gesture to say something like this to put yourself in position to perhaps be hired by another team in the future. BTW - just because someone is fired by a team doesn't mean that the team won't take you back or that the person fired is angry & would never work for that organization again.

Yep....there was even a commercial made paroding those times. I believe it was done by the "Tastes great, less filling" Miller Lite folks. Could be mistaken on that though.

Here you go. Kind of bizarre in hindsight that a lot of these ex-Yankees who made these commercials turned out to be complete alcoholics. Also refreshing to see guys like this making fun of themselves. No way in hell could I imagine a similar commercial involving Snyder/Allen & SM (I would pay to see that).

Although this sort of supports what I have been saying about Scot ... REALLY, they thought Griffin might come back and take over after Cousin's first season. I am having a hard time buying that.
