Post your sleepers for this year. Or people you think could be steals in the late rounds. GO!

There's a thread with mine. Although Everth Cabrera puts a dent into my Schoop choice and Saunders hurt his knee.

If I had replacements they would be Alex Guerrero and Grant Green. Although my confidence in Sciosciapath is limited at best, Green should get a chance in the OF... and Rutledge isn't exactly locked in at 2B, even though it's starting out that way.

One thing about sleepers - people sure have varied opinions about exactly what one is. Beller, from the SI site, lists Brandon Moss and Evan Gattis as his sleepers to grab. I can't qualify them as any sort of a sleeper. Just my opinion.

Yeah. The term has certainly changed as computer information has enhanced. It used to be "lost causes", i.e. Bautista in his first year in Toronto (22nd round in my league that year), or an actual no-name which had other owners say...who? Literally, there's no such thing anymore. Might as well call them maxed value players. Like drafting Kluber last year in the teens.

I guess that's why most "sleeper picks" are for the deepest of leagues and the targeted players generally are average at best. Unfortunately, Trout has given rookies an unfair bar to hit, making the Polancos of the world over valued.

My definition of a sleeper is a player whose ADP is 120+ who has a chance to be a top 50 player...

I was gonna go all in on Marcus Stroman this year, that isn't happening.
Odor from Texas will be a decent two bagger
Moustakus should have good value to start.
I wonder how high Kang will go.
Pineda and Paxton.
Just really depends on the value

Undervalued due to injury risk? Harvey. Is he a sleeper? No.

one's I am going with in starting lineups

Corey Dickerson- I called him last year and he still doesn't seem like he is getting the respect this year.

Scooter Gennett- he has 20 hr power

Drew Hutch- he keeps struggling but might put it all together this year

Kendrys Morales- a full season, runners on bases, could finally be his repeat of his career season,

Stephen Vogt- because of position C he could put up Yan Gomes type numbers

More a bust in San Diego. If he couldn't cut it in Fenway with Boston's lineup, what makes you think he would break out in Petco with San Diego's lineup?
I dunno, maybe he woke up. Hitting the crap outta the ball this spring. Maybe nothing, but...
