I'm actually not saying that at all, we're talking about this team and their moves. What I am suggesting is that there rarely is agreement on which parts are good. This is particularly true in the NFL where "parts" average shelf life is 3-5 years. BTW : sometimes throwi g a rotten baby out with the bathwater is the smart thing to do.
We all hope that GMSM and company are successful, however if you're one who believes in the stand pat theory be ause if it ain't broke don't fix it type of thinking, well consider this....even if SM built the greatest football team in the history of the sport, my position would still remain, keep looking to improve it. After all in the history of invention, building and innovation nothing has remained the same.
Of course you always try to continue to improve. But the thing is, you improve off of what works. We have been trying to reinvent the wheel in DC for 20 plus years. Smart teams build stability. We, change coaches, QBs and systems every few years... then wonder why the team has sucked the last 25 years or so.
