Ritz... my wife has worked in HR for 25 years now. If you want to self identify thats on you. But if you say I was released due to downsizing, and the old company says we fired him for stealing... they get in trouble. The most the old company is allowed to say is, yes he worked here, and either he left of his own accord, or we released him. They arent even allowed to say WHY some one was released if they are contacted for a reference. No company worth its name wants to be named in a black listing case.

I was joking and referencing Friday movie.

Could you please point me in the right direction as to where I can read about any of these former Pats assistants confirming cheating? Thanks.

In fact, many former New England coaches and employees insist that the taping of signals wasn't even the most effective cheating method the Patriots deployed in that era. Several of them acknowledge that during pregame warm-ups, a low-level Patriots employee would sneak into the visiting locker room and steal the play sheet, listing the first 20 or so scripted calls for the opposing team's offense.

Numerous former employees say the Patriots would have someone rummage through the visiting team hotel for playbooks or scouting reports.

Report: Patriots coaches admit team stole play sheets during Spygate era

AS THE PATRIOTS became a dynasty and Belichick became the first coach to win three Super Bowls in four years, an entire system of covert videotaping was developed and a secret library created. "It got out of control," a former Patriots assistant coach says.

Walsh later told investigators that he was once instructed to remove the labels and erase tapes of a Patriots practice because the team had illegally used a player on injured reserve. At Gillette Stadium, the scrambling and jamming of the opponents’ coach-to-quarterback radio line — “small s—-” that many teams do, according to a former Pats assistant coach — occurred so often that one team asked a league official to sit in the coaches’ box during the game and wait for it to happen. Sure enough, on a key third down, the headset went out.

During games, Walsh later told investigators, the Patriots’ videographers were told to look like media members, to tape over their team logos or turn their sweatshirt inside out, to wear credentials that said Patriots TV or Kraft Productions. The videographers also were provided with excuses for what to tell NFL security if asked what they were doing: Tell them you’re filming the quarterbacks. Or the kickers. Or footage for a team show.

Here we go again eh Dad? As I have said over and over again sources remains anonymous for a reason. In this case to remain employed. If you don't believe that go look up the assistat coach who secretly recorded Baylor coach Dave Bliss as he tried to cover up a player's murder. 13 years later that guy is still blackballed because coaches will not hire whistle blowers. Had these former Pats employees put their names to the quotes they would have suffered the same fate.

If nothing else this running debate has taught me how to spell anonymous. That's a tricky one that one is.

i dont dismiss the story but i will always have a question about it until i get a name . that is my policy and soon enough it may come out . . i really dont dismiss all anonymous sources but i dont buy into all of them either
