I was sorry to see him go, glad he is back.
I would agreeIt’s kinda wild that we didn’t just keep him last season if we were willing to pick up his contract.
Charles better be a tackleThis trade has some underlying meaning. Flowers is a OG. At his salary he should be starting. Right now the starters are BS and shweitz, with Charles as the backup. I think a BS trade could be looming. Why take on this contract when OG wasn't a need right now? Curious to see what the draft picks are. I hope its not our 4th.

No he would be a tackle because both are FAs next yrWhat if we select an OT at 19? Charles would be an OG.

I agree but no one is giving up a 1st for him and his contract , the debate was no OG is worth 18 mil a season so he ain’t going to the fucked up jets for less money or money he could get heremaybe but i think this trade meant something with BS.
How is Flowers contract structured? Did he already get his guaranteed money? Is there an opt out after year 2? Getting him in year 2 of his contract seems to be good value however to your point, paying Flowers and BS this year is 2 pretty damn expensive guards. Keep an eye on a possible move with San Francisco, but not necessarily involving BS.How is Flowers contract structured? Did he already get his guaranteed money? Is there an opt out after year 2?
