While this wont really help as far as getting good young talent, it will give us the option of claiming some of the older talent and possibly having exclusive negotiation rights on guys who get cut for cap reasons. But thats a double edged sword. cause if we claim some one who has a base salary of $6 million and they dont want to do long term, we are either stuck with the salary or wasted the space for a few days.
