I wouldn't trust hockeybuzz. That said, it's probably for Rolston. I'd LOVE Clarkson, but he's going to be expensive as feck as far as prospects go.

No problem with ditching rolston but would hate to see Clarkson go.The guy not only fights but puts up goals his hands are very under rated and is great in front of the net.He is also one of few players who show up every game and is money in the corners.

I doubt that.....but you may be right. If you are though, I'd guess it's more because of NJ's salary cap situation. I don't think you're giving Clarkson enough credit as a hockey player. He's a lot more than just a 3rd liner who scores 20 points. He's a tough kid, a heart and soul player who sticks up for his teammates. If he were to play on the Sharks, I bet you he'd score 35 points.

don't normally look at hockey buzz but i dont see where ecktard says any specific names just a random comment from someone on their board link?TG has nothing posted and has said recently rolston has not been asked to waive his no trade clause.To be honest if we are dumping salary I would think it would be a defensemen or include one we are overstocked on d would expect to see salvadore traded or dumped in the minors.

true but last time the devils tried moving rolston they were very vocal about the fact they asked him to waive his ntc.

They didn't have to ask Heatley to waive his NTC as it was only limited to 10 teams and Minnesota was not one of them.
