I don't care what 2016 was like, Moore is the worst starting pitcher in baseball and it's not close. This is how bad seasons happen, players that are supposed to perform don't: Moore, Samardjiza, Crawford, Pence, Cueto, left fielders, most of the bullpen....if you get reasonable expected production from these guys you are ok. They all stunk it up this year.

i can guarantee the turnstile number is much lower. season tix holders aren't showing up and there's no secondary market except for marquee games.

He's a good pro, and deserves better than this. That would be OK with me.

We have a good catcher at Sacramento, and Garcia should move to Richmond soon (I do not understand why he is still in San Jose).

So what do we do with Moore? We obviously let him pitch the rest of the season, but do we pick up the option for next year? He's a train wreck out there. Sanchez 2.0

His option will ABSOLUTELY be picked up. This is by far his worst season, and he has a ton of potential. Letting him walk would be worse than selling low of a guy.
