I'm a noob backpacker, this is just my third overnight trip. I've just hiked in the past, but started backpacking last November.

Anyway, Sipsy Wilderness, Alabama. It's shocking how different the terrain is for the deep south.

That looks like our "Hocking Hills" area in SE central Ohio

There are enormous rocks, the size of two story houses all over. Limestone, so the water wear makes them look like this.

I though Bama was totally flat.
