I'm Huge for going OL.

IMO we got exposed vs Carolina and their Dominant defense.

We need to Upgrade and Soon

I can think of several other games that were worse for the O-line than the Carolina game. Monday night at St. Louis and home vs Arizona in particular.

It's the biggest weakness on the team, and I won't be surprised to see the Hawks go for O-line with tomorrow's pick. But it also wouldn't surprise me to see them go in another direction or trade down for more picks. Anyone's guess is as good as mine.

The coaches obviously have a lot of faith in the evolution of Bowie and Bailey, but would still like to see us add start quality depth at RG/RT.

It would be tough to pass on Marqise Lee if he is there but I'm hoping we can snag Xavier Su'a-Filo. But in P&S we trust. Trade down again even!

I wish there was an "I don't care" selection. If Carrol & Schneider picked up a 26 year old who hadn't played a lick of football since high school and was currently bagging groceries at Safeway, I'd call it a brilliant move. That being said, I see no wrong addressing our offensive line. Sound logic.

I really think a big reason why we traded back is because we were planning on drafting Dominique Easley but the patriots drafted him its not like we got a whole lot for the pick we turned our 1st into a 2nd and picked up a 4th rounder. in hindsight i guess its fine because its not like we have any first rounders on this team that are doing pro bowlers other than ET and RO but they are both top 15 talent and russel okung actualy fell to us because the stupid redskins wanted to draft trent williams

Offensive line. All I have to say is did you watch the draft, when Alt was on "the Clock" they showed Matt Ice lead the lead with the most hurries of the NFL at 200 something and next was Wilson at 185. That is way too much pressure. Than add in the fact we will be playing SF, STL, and AZ twice, our line needs to step up or we will be talking about how well Jackson didn't play next year.

Best player Pete and John think is available.

The way these guys draft, that's about all we can accurately predict will happen.

As much as I want Marqise Lee to be a Seahawk. (Being a USC alumn/fan) This draft is deep in WR talent, If either Joel Bitonio or Xavier Su'a-Filo take one!

Not one G taken in the first round, correct?

I think that means we should have the pick of the litter when 40 comes around.

Oh 40 is beautiful for us. I'll list 8 players (7 picks until ours) that I would LOVE to have on this team. This is from memory:

Fua
Lee
Mathews
Ealy
Murphy
Amaro
Sefarian-Jenkins (LOB will whip him into shape)
Moses

I also wouldn't be upset with Bitiono (in the 2nd at least) but still don't like JOT O-Lineman.

I think we almost have to go O-line... Were pretty depleted there...Gotta protect Russ... I'm ok if one of those picks is a BIG D line run stuffer as well...

OL needs to be addressed for sure. So it would be nice if they use the first pick on a OL , but if they don't, I'm sure they have a plan to fix the OL. So I'm not going to panic if they go a different direction with the next pick.
Looking forward to seeing that pick today.

For what it's worth. Baldwin was just talking on KjR and said it wouldn't shock him in the least if they traded back again to gain a 3rd. Also wouldn't shock him if they took a WR with one of these earlier picks. Mentioned Paul Richardson from Colorado as the type of WR the Seahawks covet. 6'0 - 6'2 type of WO who isn't so tall that he's stiff and ability to run any type of route.
