Signed McCoy from Sea

Well we got a TE but not he one I was expecting. He is 6'5 but has been out of the league the last two years. I think he went to USC. He probably knows SM from SEA. Very injury prone. Tore both Achilles tendons.

Sea is loaded at TE. I can see why they cut him. Still a huge injury risk. Would of went with Fauria.

mccoy could be the better blocker which is what we need fuaria isnt that much as a blocker

Looks like he does have some good blocking skills but some inconsistent hands.

FWIW, the Achilles injuries are 1 each on both ankles.

Early in his career, McCoy was known for his inconsistent hands and for his blocking. Before his injuries hit, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, who also coached him at USC, said this about McCoy (by way of SB Nation's Fieldgulls.com:

"Anthony has been a really great prospect and this was a really great pick for us a few years back. He's really grown into a versatile tight end for us; he's one of our best blockers ... he really does a great job with all the in-line blocking, he moves around well, he's a great target to throw the ball to. Anthony's got a big basketball background, and he does have really good hands, but there's been times when he's been coming up, and getting ready to play NFL football, when he hasn't really been keeping the concentration that you need to catch the football.
