Talent wise Bryant would be a great addition. People talk about Bryant like he's washed up but he's only 29. His last season with Romo throwing him the ball he caught 16 TDs. The last 3 years he had Brandon Weeden, Matt Cassel, Kellen Moore and Dak Prescott. None of them are gonna light up a football field. With Baldwin out, Bryant would be this team's best receiver.

That said, character issues are a concern. He may not be worth bringing it because of that, but I wouldn't know. If he could come in and not be a distraction or disrupt the locker room, I would be all for it.

I think the reason Dez is available is his asking price to sign. On the cheap he would be worth a flyer, but don’t sink much into signing him because 6 million is not all that much given that the Seahawks will no doubt have to replace numerous players during the course of a season due to injuries.

Lets get Penny returning the Kickoffs, He is special at those. Let Carson get more Carries at RB and more of a #1 role for him. Now Lockett can return just the punts if he wants.

Actually, punts are specifically what I don't want Lockett returning. He's horrible on punt returns.

No to Dez Bryant... He's basically Brandon Marshall at this point of his career...

A few I'd like to consider at this point:

Jordan Matthews
Corey Coleman
Martavis Bryant

Corey Coleman would be the best of the bunch.

Corey Coleman and Bennie Fowler signed with NE a couple days ago. You'll likely see Coleman for a handful of plays on Sunday is my guess. Especially if Burkhead doesn't clear concussion protocol. It would leave Brady one less target. NE may need to bring Ralph Webb the UDFA RB up from the PS to replace Burkkead.

I hope they give Keenan Reynolds the first shot. I know it was preseason but he looked Baldwin-esque

That seems like exactly what they are doing. Reynolds was promoted from the practice squad.

My first thought was, what's next, the wildcat formation? However, I looked at his college time and found out he mostly played WR?

Yes that is correct. Clayton said that he did play wide receiver quite a bit college

@Tech_God - I never understood the rainbow. Is that supposed to be good or bad? Are you agreeing or disagreeing? If you're disagreeing, why?

Edit: I found it. Weird, around 2:30 PST. I went to bed around 11:00. Sleep texting? :noidea:
I have no clue. In a way, I agree with you in terms of limiting Lockett's PR's until Baldwin gets back. I'll have to see his stats on how he did last year to determine whether or not he's as bad as you say.

Um, WTF? I haven't given out a rainbow I think ever....

Lockett is averaging 5.9 yards per return since week 4 of 2016 (65 PR for 381 yards).

Oh ok. I didn't hear Coleman signed, but a good pick up for NE. I think you'll see better from him now that he's in a system that works.

I'm still scratching my head on the rainbow rating. To me, a rainbow is saying you are a Pollyanna, you find the good in even the worse.

Belichick has a knack for finding these castoffs and getting the most of them?
