The best part is that pass doesn't make it into that window unless he throws it sidearm. Love it.

It was a great pass...very accurate, but what window ? The DB was trailing left & close, but there was nobody else in the way or around.

He had to go over top of the LB dropping deep to the right, and put it around the trailing defender, instead of the more traditional over the top of the trailing guy. Basically it had to be high enough to clear one guy, but low and to the side of the second guy. If that pass is at head-level or higher coming in I think the DB is in a position to knock it away as he finishes the play.

That's just my assessment, though. Maybe there was room to drop it in over the top and the side-arm wasn't necessary? Imo that catch doesn't happen without that particular throwing slot, though...

That pass is far more difficult than it looks. If its not placed right and doesnt have enough zip, the pass would've been way off. If its to high, Riddick wouldve had to adjust differently too. It was a touch pass.

It was fucking amazing. A right hander running left and throwing right into tight coverage... it doesn't get any tougher than that. Degree of difficulty is off the charts. Matthew earned his paycheck this week with that one.

I personally would not have called it a "touch" pass but I did notice something on this after watching it several times. That sidearm action released the ball so quickly that it fit into a really tight window. If he goes through a normal throwing motion that extra time would have either given the defender a chance to knock it down or the velocity he would have throw it with might have killed Riddick.

That's just one guys opinion who is not very bright and used to get hit in the head a lot when I was younger. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I thought Stafford played a good game. Very few mistakes at all. Just a couple of bad reads and throws and none of them hurt us. And none of them were horrible. He made some good decisions to throw the ball away a couple times too.

That INT was as much of a great play by Grimes as anything else, too. The ball was a touch lower than it should have been, but that one-handed snag was just superb effort on his part...

I also think that there really isn't anyone to hear a tree fall in the woods. Perhaps an apossum but he would most likely get run over trying to cross the road to tell his friend the squirrel
