Standouts from East-West Shrine Bowl: Day 1

Here’s who stood out on the first day of practices at the East-West Shrine Bowl.

I'm an NC State guy. We need to look at the Thomas brothers. Drake is talked about in this article. If he were 2 inches taller, he would be in the 1st round. He was an absolute stud in college. He will probably go in the 4th round or so and teams are going to regret passing on him. He can be a day 1 starter. He was so much better in college than Jamin Davis. While looking at Drake, we need to look at his brother, Thayer Thomas at WR. Kid finished as the #2 all time receiving TD's behind only Torry Holt. Kid is a clone of Hunter Renfro. He runs routes as sharp as Renfro and Kupp (just not as quick). Kid also was our punt returner his whole career so he could definitely take on that role also. Thayer should be taken in round 7 but he will probably be one of the first signed undrafted players.
