Draft Jerry Jeudy from Alabama next year and move on. Maybe he breaks out. We'll see.
ionmanSucks they have to make the decision now but if that's the way it is then I say no way too.
Can we finally put a stick in the whole Scot M. debacle and conclude that his tenure was a complete disaster? His drafts were terrible and his FA pickups even worse. I believe Dox and Scherff are the only players who remain from 2 draft classes and when you take a guard at 5 well that's about as safe of a pick as you will ever see so little credit for that.
But it has been 3 years and it's time I admit that was the better pick than Williams.
He had "mixed results" - to be charitable, and the last 2 (or 3? I've lost track) drafts seem to be significantly better. What's up DGF.Sucks they have to make the decision now but if that's the way it is then I say no way too.

But hey, aside from his drafts, free agent signings... trades (or lack thereof)... um, drinking problems, and various other issues, I'd argue he was perfectly fine. Good to see you too bro. Better old than the alternative... unless there's more than one alternative.Well there's a name from my first days of message board posting, January 2000. Good to see you again old man.
I think "mixed" is charitable. He makes Vinny look like Bobby Beathard. His FA signings were horrible, not sure any of them worked out and that's pretty hard to accomplish. When you have 1 draft pick still on the team that kind of says it all.
I think there's very little chance they pick it up. Remember, it's for 2020, and it's for 9.3 million. Hard to see him being worth it - I hope he proves me wrong.

I'll co-sign Scotty Mac being a shitty GM. And yeah, he was better than Bruce Allen, I think, but his sign career STers to be starters phase of the Scotty Mac Era is on a loop in my head right now.
Yeah, Scherff was a better pick than Leonard Williams. But there have only been 3 OGs drafted higher, as high and close to as high as Brandon was at #5. Jim Parker and John Hannah are first time ballot Hall of Famers. The other, Quenton Nelson, gave multiple media heads, a whole buncha Colts and non-Colts fans woodies he was so nasty at times last year. Picking Schreff wasn't a bad pick, it wasn't a great pick either.
