wow. Another person who doesn’t know how to actually debate.

I never said Fromm would drop. I said if he did and was availed in round 4 or 5 he should be drafted.

I stated he was expected to be the #1 pick at one point.

I answered the question posed and then people like you try to rephrase what was said.

The top needs for the Redskins are the following order:
LT
CB
TE
LB
WR

That has no bearing on who we should draft in round 4. None whatsoever.

Right, you posed crazy situations that would never happen. Congrats lol. I never specifically said there is no way they should draft a QB but it not being a huge need, that is the least of their worries at this point. Looking at their roster and their needs there is absolutely no value in drafting a QB in the mid rounds. Yeah in your crazy examples sure why not...but that is a no brainer. Unless a crazy scenario occurs...you either don't draft a QB or wait until a very late round pick for essentially a depth pick. Even if Fromm drops to the 5th..why do you draft him? Why? His potential isn't higher than Haskins, he would take even longer to develop and you could still get something of greater value at a position of NEED in the 5th. The fact is QB isn't a need, you know this, stop overthinking it saying if something occurs they could...that's common sense.

Fromm can’t make it to round4?

Post 8 you stated, From my perspective (even though you guys know your shit), no point in wasting even a 4th on a QB.

If a player drops to the fourth, when they should go in the second, that creates the value. Value isn’t determined by the need.

The reason you take Fromm if he drops to the fifth is to improve your team. A fifth round pick has a low chance of being a starter at any point in time among other metrics...
Tracking NFL Draft Efficiency: How Contingent Is Success To Draft Position?
So you draft Fromm and allow him to play in the preseason. Maybe he makes an impression and yields a higher draft pick to a team that debated on drafting him but went another way and found out their actual QB sucks. Or, Fromm comes in for an injured Haskins and plays really well like Garoppolo did and fetches a second or better. Or, maybe Haskins doesn’t pan out and Fromm gets an opportunity like KC did.

I never said QB is a need but I also don’t believe in drafting for need. If I did, I wouldn’t be a proponent of drafting Chase Young at DE, when we have Sweat and Kerrigan under contract. DE is not a need.

Yes the Skins should draft a QB...Trevor Lawrence next year. Trade your #2 pick this year for a boatload of picks. Start filling the roster with good quality players on both sides of the ball with all those picks. Even with doing that, you're still going be bad again this season (if there is one) so u might as well tank for Trevor Lawrence. If u do all that, and get him, Redskins would be a contender for the next decade.

It is t wasting a,pick. It is investing in a player to yield a gain.

I don't know how skins fans and others from bummy nfl teams are giving Gkekoa a hassle for answering the original question with : maybe. That's all he said from what i read.
I personally feel Fromm is being slept on, if he was there in the 5th I'd run to the podium, develop him and go from there.
