I say no. As in find something better to do with government resources.

Now I'm biased in that I have zero interest in a playoff as well. I think the bowl system is better for college football and think that the BCS is doing what it was orginally designed for. Getting #1 vs. #2 every year to decide the National Champion.

I thought in was ludacris when Obama talked about it in his campaign & even more retarded now that the DOJ is actually persuing it.

Personally, I think this is an attempt by the DOJ to distract people from their Mexican gun running fiasco.

I don't think I want the man involved with anything that I can possibly think of. I can see why they would want to be involved with all the money at stake and a chance to skim it into their own pockets. If not for the money on the line, my guess is they just wouldn't bother, like most things that are fucked up, our own politicians being the most in need of some house cleaning

Well it worked on me up until your post. I'm not even a little suprised. One thing the Iran/Contra scandal taught me way back when is that there's no line agencies within our government won't cross for extra funding.

No way, they shouldn't be involved with college football for the main reason that they have so many REAL issues to get involved with, or issues that actually pertain to running a country that they do a shitty job of anyways.
