We have had Geico insurance for over 10 years, but we're thinking about finding another company to go with. I like the cost of Geico, but the fact that they have no agents anywhere near me is kind of bullshit. If something happens I call them to report it, then I am responsible for photographing everything, filing out claims forms and submitting the claims to some desk jockey in Dallas. I want someone I can meet face to face, tell them what happened, then wait for my check.

I guess I need to figure out how much more I'm willing to pay for that personal touch?

That's all. Just needed to say it.

Find an insurance provider that has a local agent. Dealing with real people face to face beats trying to fix things long distance.

I have Liberty Mutual though a local agent, they were the cheapest after I shopped around.

Imma' dump Geico, too. They're not that cheap anymore and Warren Buffet is an asshole.

I was waiting to switch to State Farm because I had a speeding ticket. The ticket just dropped off and now they're cheaper than Geico.
