Shawn Watson to be a Redhawk?

Watson is apparently in the mix for the job at Miami (OH).

All he wants for Christmas is a head coaching job and all I want for Christmas is for Shawn to get what he wants.

Mich St. coach was heavy in the mix on this too I heard... but we shall have to wait and see... it would be a major plus if it were to happen and soon..... as it would spur our OC selection/choices/candidates who are having feelers sent out our way!

But this is kinda being poopoood by many....

Who is telling the the facts as they are and who is holding back? Waiting game.... it is what it is.....

I am telling the facts how they are............and the fact is, Shawn Watson has got a job offer to be Manager at the downtown Goodwill store in Lincoln. He will take the job.

He was on staff with Miami of Ohio for 7 seasons already..........they liked what he did while he was there.

IN all fairness he wasn't Offensive Coordinator from 87-93.

But as Wide Receivers coach from 90-91 and QB's coach from 92-93 you'd think there would be some improvement in that part of the game.

I have yet to find something the guy's done really good with any consistency. I guess recruiting?

I have always personally felt like the guy is kinda dumb (outside of football) just by hearing him talk to the media. He sounds pretty ditzy at times........like a blonde female or somethin.

Well Bo didn't hire him, but you know he's gotten to know his family and all over the last 3 years.

Nice guy or not, good recruiter or not, I really think he needs to go if Nebraska's gonna get to Top Tier bowls.

I like Shawn Watson..........I honestly am a softy when it comes to firing people, I feel bad if that's what it comes down to.........but business is business. We aren't going to move on to that next level until the offense can move on. And the offense isn't moving on with Watson

Watson has become one of the 2 top truest for the Miami (OH) job. Along with Ohio St co-DC.
