I don't think so. He's a proven good back up. Hell he can't be any worse than Clementine

I agree.with KS on this Champ at the nickel sounds good. I mean come on we lost Finnegan and we are already thin at corner. You guys mean to tell me you are happy with McGee at the nickel? Sorry but we can just expect young guys to figure it out, they need a little guidance.

Also, just saying Aeneas Williams never played safety either. It would be worth a shot if Champ could come in on the minimum. What other options are out there

Yeah, our secondary was bad last year, but lets also factor into the equation the pathetic defensive coach that we had as well. Guy was better suited to star on some old foogie country TV show than run a defense. At least he had the name for it.
