This board is sad. All I did was defend the Sharks effort and (correctly) state that they were the much more dominant team in the 3rd. Go rewind and tell me the two penalties on the Sharks in the third were penalties. And which call against the Flyers was a terrible call? Oh, and just because Briere ends up on the ice doesnt make it an automatic PP. I think you need to look at the third again and tell me the reffing was so horried.

Yeah I agree its hard to feel like you "beat" a team when you win in a shootout. But we need the two points. And as another poster said, hopefully well see you again this year.

This will go down for me as one of the most demoralizing losses in recent memory. And by recent I mean possibly even a few years back.

It absolutely amazes me how often the Flyers only want to play hockey when they have their backs up against the wall (positives = playoffs last season). That often means they don't start skating until they give up the first goal or two. Then they completely dominate the second period. In the third when they find themselves ahead by two, three or more goals, they have absolutely zero killer instinct and therefore end up pinned in their own zone until the score is suddenly tied or they are trailing and have to turn it on again.

I just don't fucking believe it. This team watches the scoreboard WAY, WAY too much. Since when do you play hard enough just to get a two or three goal lead and then coast to victory? The Nhl doesn't fucking work that way these days. Multiple goals are being scored in a matter of seconds night after night. You can't ever let your fucking guard down.

It sounds odd to say this, but the Flyers would have been better off tied through two periods tonight instead of up 3-1. At least then they would have suddenly had a reason to keep skating and pressuring. It is absolutely unreal to me. This team would be leading the Nhl in wins and points right now with ease if they had any killer instinct at all when it really matters. I'd like to not have to wait until fucking playoff time to see it either.

Sharks got lucky, they deserved to lose this game, but at this point, I'll take any 2 points they can get. Tough game Flyers fans, you deserved to win this game. im guessing you didnt watch the game because you whould have seen the kicked in goal by the sharks....and the NON calls against the sharks is what mattered, oh and the 2 bull shit calls against the flyers, made the diffrence in this game. Tough game for the Philly fans. The Flyers had this game won (and a tenth of a second away from winning it a second time) and only got a loser point out of it.

As a Sharks fan I love seeing the comeback and the fact that they did not just hang their heads and quit.

I was already to come in here and insult the Philly fan base again but after watching the game to the end I think I will abstain. Definitely a tough one for the Flyers.

Watched the last 2.5 periods. Explain to me in detail how that goal was "a distinct kicking motion". I do think the calls against the Flyers were pretty weak, but there were some non calls against the Flyers that should have been called too. Believe me, Bettman doesn't have a thing for the Sharks.....otherwise, maybe they'd at least have ONE Finals appearance. Give me a break man, I'm no Sharks apologist (if anything, I'm overly harsh on them.....I'm not a Joe Thornton fan at all), but blaming the refs over this game is BS.

i think maybe i shouldn't watch anymore.. past two games, i've watched..... 11-ish minutes of hockey (clock) + tonight's shootout.. all together the flyers have netted 7 goals and given up 0 while i haven't been watching, where as they've scored 0 and given up 7 (2 SO) while i've watched

closest they've come is i've seen replays of goals both times i've turned the past two games on, but none live
