The player was clearly exploiting the fact that there's no rule in place. If there were, at least he'd have attempted a better acting job. Injured players need to sit out for a specified amount of time.

You can't punish the legitimate injuries just to broad sweep the fake ones, which probably make up less than 1% of all injuries in college football.

The solution is simple, when people get caught faking injuries, suspend the players after the game, or punish the coaches in some manner as it is cheating similiar to recruiting violations. The fear of being caught alone would put an end to it.

Easy to handle post game. If Georgia were getting in trouble today for it, nobody else would even dream of it. Yet, there would still be reasons and teams who did it even with the having to stay out. The only thing of real consequence would be the TO, and then you are punishing for all injuries.

Seriously, with all the rule changes that have been made to favor the offense, I have no problem with this, whatsoever. In fact, I would say that those who cry about this are just fans of teams that try to use the fast-pace offense.

It should be against the rules to bang on our defense for the entire game with a giant fullback and 5 300+ pounders. Somebody is going to get hurt.

Players should fake injuries when they get banged on for 4 series in a row. Our defenders cant be 100% if they are getting the shit smacked out of em every play. It isn't fair!!!!!
