Isn't it automatically used if the challenge is overruled? I mean isn't it like you just called a TO instead?

It is - Harbaugh lost the TO because he challenged a play he should have never challenged.

My question still stands, I didn't watch the game until now but I was watching stats. How the hell did Ponder look like Montana against us when Rodgers and Stafford both struggled? I don't it has anything to do with Alex Smith.

To be honest, I'm putting more heat on Alex when it should be fairly distributed throughout the whole team. But his performance was pretty lackluster and his passing has been short of adequate the entire game. You see guys like Clyde mentioning how those out routes are scaring the heck out of us because they take forever to get to a receiver. The team played bad as a whole, but Alex sure as heck didn't help us out either.
