Mets haven't scored a run for 17 innings.
Yesterday they scored 1 in the 1st inning of a 13 inning game.
They're being held scoreless thru 5 so far tonight.

They are absolutely putrid at home.

:L

Yes!
Jackson ties it up 2-2 in the 7th with an rbi single scoring Flores....and he takes 2nd on the throw home....still 1 out.

SF goes to the pen.

LGM!!

Dammit...it remains a 2-2 game after 7.

Was a very entertaining game last night, saw some really good defensive plays, especially a Willie Mays-esque over-the-shoulder grab by Pence when Matz launched one to the warning track. Reyes also made a nice dive at third to snag a sinking liner.

Bottom of the first, the Giants had a 3-stooges moment when McNeil popped one to shallow right. 3 Giants converged, then all stood there watching the ball drop. Mets being Mets, they did not score.

I really like what I've seen from McNeil so far....that dude is a scrapper & a keeper..and he seems like a hard nose, unlike a few others on the roster.
And Plawecki looks like he's rounding out into a nice catcher/hitter and getting more comfortable with his increased playing time. Hope Nimmo comes back soon.
Next year's team should be an interesting thing to watch unfold.

Hopefully Thor doesn't give it back here in the 3rd...

SF has 2nd & 3rd now....only 1 out.

edit: Ground ball out gives the SF a run.

2 down...runner at 3rd.

and now a 2 out single by Panik makes it 3-2.

C'mon Thor.....settle down, dude.

The Giants scored a run in the 7th....but the Mets also scored a run in the home half on a Frazier solo HR...and after some nice BP work from Blevins & Gsellman....this game is now in the top of the 9th with the Mets up 5-3, and Zamora on the mound.

Zamora gets the 1st out...and now Sewald is coming in.

This better not backfire.

LGM!
