Man it sucks that Jefferson is hurt this saves another series of bosh getting abused in the post. No offense to heat fans but gets abused by quality big men. This series could of been heat in 6 probably but man tough break

He was never going to guard Jefferson in this series and if he did it would be at 5 minutes at most. Jefferson was going to be guarded by Haslem, Bird, and possibly Oden.

This is overstated. Al may abuse MIA but MIA is 5-0 this year against CHA (and have won 16 straight but Al was only there for the last 4). It takes more than just a skilled big to give MIA fits.

It almost always takes an elite D coupled with that big...or having a losing record seems to help our chances against MIA too

Yeah that's true. They do play good D just not enough perimeter shooting. It would of made each game interesting

It's hard for Oden to get into the rotation if UD is in it. Bringing Bird/Oden off the bench kinda stills the bench rotation which is why Spoelstra usually chooses to start Udonis or Oden and whichever that doesn't start probably won't play unless it is a urgent situation such as Bosh picking up early fouls and being in foul trouble all game
