That’s because her parents brought her up better as a person. Taught manners and being humble.
How? I always ask how old you are because for people who knew Serena and Venus when they burst onto the scene over 20 years ago, they have known them as well behaved and well-mannered notwithstanding the opprobrium they have gotten over the years; take Indian wells and much later USO events.
Does it mean that other men like Federer et al who insult umpires and break rackets are not taught manners and humility? Go on.

So her three major outbursts at the USO IN MATCHES SHE LOST EVENTUALLY are a result of good upbringing and through learning proper manners from her parents?

Actually, if you have ever played sports or tennis, you would know tennis is an emotional game played by human beings not machines. When my favorite tennis player, Steffi showed little or no emotion and went about her business, people criticized her as a machine who only hit the ball harder than anybody else, did not communicate with anybody else in the locker room or had no friends on the tour and ripped her when her father was caught with tax evasion.
So when Federer insulted umpires and broke rackets in emotional outburst was it a reflection of "good upbringing and through proper manners from his parents?"

Serena was the greatest of all time to date. She better get used to losing gracefully though. She is old and fat now and it is going to start happening a lot. If she continues to be a spectacle then even the WTA will not stand for it.

She was? Well, as for losing gracefully, it is strange that controversy has dodged her only at USO. She has been losing at other GS without any drama. She lost to Naomi in Miami this year, Kerber at Wimbledon and others without any drama. Since she came back she has been in two GS finals, pretty good for a "fat and old" lady.
What will actually hurt her chances of getting another slam is the right pectoral muscle injury that affects her legendary serve. If she is able to recover really well from this injury that I am sure affects her both psychologically and physically. If she is able to manage this injury she will get more GS victories despite this assertion that "She is old and fat now."
I wish she skips USO.

As much as you dislike the description of her being old and fat that does not change the fact that she is old and fat. She is getting injured more easily and not moving well.

She will always be in contention if healthy but I wouldnt be so sure of that now. She was already struggling with fitness before the injury. This will only set her back further. Granted women's tennis is pretty random these days but some of these younger girls are hitting the ball harder (except for serve) and moving better than her. That greatly reduces the odds of any one person winning multiple slams.

If her serve suffers from this injury then she is in big trouble.

Lol. I don't dislike that fact. I just remind people that Serena has been described as fat, overweight, etc and that she would never win another title and she came back and won. In both 2005, and 2007 pundits dismissed her at AO and she came back to win. the most notorious line was said by Pat Cash:
Williams is lost cause - Times Online
Tracy Austin also claimed she was overweight and would be no match for Sharapova in the finals. What happened? Sharapova ended up winning ony 3 games in the 2007 AO final. Sharapova was shellacked 6-1, 6-2. Granted she is a little bit older, I wouldn't count Serena out of any GS.

I wouldnt count her out either. Just saying it will infinitely harder then it was 10 years ago because she so much older. She could get away with being overweight in her 20s and even early 30s. It is definitely taking a toll on her now. If she gets back in shape then she has a shot if that injury is not serious. There are a lot more ifs these days with her.

That comeback from injury at the 2007 AO was one of the best comebacks from injury I've seen.

If Serena wins another French Open, it will be similar. I say French Open specifically since it requires the most fitness.

It looks like Court is the only one that has won that major as a mother.

On a side note, Kerber's coach, Wim Fisette, has won the USO and AO with Clijsters; and Wimbledon with Kerber.

Kerber as a player has won 3 of the 4 majors, except for the FO. It would be cool for both Kerber and Fisette to win the FO together, since that's the missing major for both of them.

Fisette also reached the Wimbledon Finals in 2013 with Lisicki, and the 2014 FO with Halep.

Pectoral issue eh? You manage to come up with the weirdest/cutest assumptions and theories and stay lovable and innocent in this forum. I also like how you are able to connect to Serena’s psyche and get inside her head to shed light on everything she is thinking and letting us “clueless folks about tennis” know through your metaphysical powers.

The only person I can compare you with is this guy. He is hilarious and funny and is a rage on FB right now.

Actually, I know of her injury as well as injuries to my favorites player, such as Steffi who suffered from chronic back injuries brought by back bone spurs that forced her to retire at age 30! I don't need metaphysics to know because I am older enough to witness them as well as their own discussions of the injuries.
I know you are a clueless fuck who just wants to bump his thread by responding in this comical fashion..

I know. But if anybody is counted out it is not Serena. To come out of motherhood and reach the finals in two GS is remarkable especially when some people regard her "weight" or fitness as albatross or an issue.

We have to count out grandma now. This reminds me of that New Edition song “Count me out”. I know her rabid fans want her to play till 90 so they can live through her victories and drama and all that nonsense but as soon as one or two more Naomi Osakas come along she will retire if she has any common sense.

Oh,btw, do you know that Osaka was beaten by Sevastova (a woman who retired 4 years ago and just came back) in the semi-finals of China Open? She attributes the loss (4-6,4-6) to back injury. Yes she is 20! Some of us who are older have seen it all. Unlike you who lives vicariously through the victories of Federer and Sharapova, some of us don't. We just know that Serena is gifted enough to get another slam before it is all over, age and weight notwithstanding.
