Practices have begun and I haven't heard a peep about him yet.

I'll have to start watching practices on NFL network, but there's not one article in local or national media that I could find about how he's doing or if he's even there.

Well I lost a lot of I guess"giving a shit" when we didn't play in the bowl game. Not saying he would have won us the game. He could have helped us not get our hat handed to us though. Wish him all the best. I do have a feeling we will be hearing about Nathan Gary completing his degree in about 15 years though.

Gerry has been impressive from what i've heard. Scouts loved his measurables and he had an INT in practice today. He's helping his draft stock a lot here.

I have forgiven him.

His decisions probably factored in getting Banker fired.....

I wish him the best but why run a race only to stop before you cross the finish line.

Gerry will be a solid starter for years to come. Bet.

Reminds me a lot of Harrison Smith.

My guess,

Gerry was contacted by an agent early on in 2016. Telling him X Amount of dollars will be there for him. I bet there were a lot of dollars to a 21 year old.

Just play the season, don't get hurt. Train like demon. Your draft stock is going higher after every game. Blah blah blah.

From that, he decided he was too cool for school and completely blew off his classes. Seriously, why bother with school if you are going to make a few million for sure in the NFL Draft.

He wouldn't be the first one to do that.

I guarantee you that if I was told I was going to make $3,000,000+ the day I come out of college with or without my degree, guess what I wouldn't be doing? No more classes for me.

The worst thing is, his parents were not happy about him blowing off his education.

The degree stays with you forever. .

What's so funny about that is he ran a 10.2 100m dash and a 4.42 40 plus a 35 inch vert at the Nebraska scouting combine out of HS.

He disrespected my favorite football team, so I don't give a damn how good or badly he does in the pros.
