Kucherov appears to have taken some acting classes in his time off.

Somebody tell me they got a screen grab of that Bolts mouthbreather who looks an awful lot like Joe Piscopo.

As explained repeatedly by Dildo fans, the Lightning WERE being penalized for existing.

Also, not that I want to necessarily see more coach's challenges, but if you can challenge for offside, you should certainly be able to challenge for too many men on the ice. Tampa scored a goal that essentially was the GWG (a Barzal late tally nixed that) when they should have been penalized. I don't know if NBC talked about this much, but it was ignored by CBC/Sportsnet.

Wondering if this would be a good place to open a cheese buffet for this series? Might be able to keep it open for the finals too!

They did, but they also said it was a wash basically because of the bad goaltender interference call on Point.

Big game tonight. Islanders need to skate better and be smarter than in game two or it will be a tough series. They need to win in hits/aggressiveness and bring a shit ton of non-stop, high motor energy every shift. Also need to stop giving up the blue line so easily. They played soft and chased in the neutral zone and backed off every skater on the rush at the blue line and let them come with speed instead of what they did more in game 1 and the other series which was stand strong at the blue line, get their sticks out in front of them to poke check the puck and guide them wide if they can't.

Who am I to question Barry Trotz, but two things that drove me crazy all year. They can't sit so low on the penalty kill. Their penalty killers have a habit of forming too low and tight of a box which allows the other team to move the puck at will all the while being in shooting range. No aggressiveness on the kill. Against better power play units this kills them and TB dominated them this same way last year on the power play. Need to be more aggressive on the kill and not just sit back and let them move the puck at will. The other thing was trying to carry the puck across the blue line too much. Teams just set up camp on them knowing they just don't dump and chase that often and they also don't have enough speed or spacing when they do carry it and half the time it's a struggle just to gain the blue line...enough venting. Love this team and love their heart and think Trotz is the best playoff coach in the league. How else can you be "out talented" every single series and still steal a couple here and there...Go Isles

Bieksa: John Garrett is 70 years old today and he's never eaten a vegetable in his life.

/The lead-in to this was Garrett was going to win the MVP of the '83 All-Star game at Nassau Coliseum before Gretzky went crazy and scored 4 goals in the final 10 minutes

This is why it needs to be Isles/Habs in the final. Dueling crowd anthems.
