Yeah, I'm guessing the refs just assumed they ran into each other accidentally. Kunitz didn't chase him down, he saw him at the last second. I don't think either of them knew where the other was until they were right on top of each other.

I agree they were on an accidental collision course, but Kunitz knew and EXTENDED at the last minute rather than sidestep. If he doesn't finish the hit, chalk it up to a collision. But you can't put a guy down like that and not get a call. Especially since Kunitz has been a little out of control tonight.

Hornqvist, too. If the coach wants Sheary out of the lineup, just don't dress him. Dirty to send your own player after him.
