Yeah, the annoying part of that call is they had it as a minor before huddling up and changing the call 5 feet away from Crosby as he's on the ice. The injury doesn't (or i should say it shouldn't) determine the call.

I'd be more forgiving to Niskanen if he didn't have his eyes on Sid the entire play, in addition to the fact that he's been cross checking Sid all series.

Didn't end up mattering, because the highly dangerous knocking of a puck out of midair into the stands occurred. That penalty is dumb enough when the puck is on the ice, but from midair it's a whole new level of absurd.
