Also - I predict that many fans will be groaning about Jim Leyland all the way through the season.

I predict that no on will mention my name on the Detroit board for the rest of the season....even though Vegas currently lists that at 200-1 not to occur.

Don't wanna jinx him, but an easy choice for a second half resurgence among our players would be Doug Fister. CBS reports that in the 2011-2012 seasons (29 total appearances), he went 16-7 with a 2.58 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in the second half.

Damn already posted one on the other thread didnt see one her. Agree with verlander being better and scherzer worst, agree with the royals heating up, still think they will finish 2nd. Chris davis will cool down, and miggy will take his second straight triple crown and mvp. Benoit will continue to be a solid closer, puig will continue to impress if healthy, the nationals will surge but fall just short, lincecum is back to form? Its possible. The yankees rays and jays miss the playoffs in the east. Pirates athletics and orioles continue to dominate with rosters that an averagg fan couldnt name a player on. Cardinals continue to have a ridiculous offense. Sean casey comes back and clogs the basepaths for detroit and vmart goes on a second half tear!

I think the Indians will fade....no pitching and hitting way over their heads......Tigers will have at least a 7 game lead by the end of August......Pen will sort itself out with no major trades.....VMart and Prince will carry a big load second half......Miggy MVP.....just short of triple crown, but crazy #s....

The Indians fading is a very solid prediction. They've won close games, extra inning games and spring games. But their pitching stinks and I don't think their offense is all that great in reality. Mark Reynolds and Drew Stubbs empty ab's will hurt down the stretch.

The Cubs will trade more than 2 players and get some great prospects(b/c there's always next year ). I even think we will somehow pull off a trade for Bradley from 'Zona. Oops, wrong board......

I keep waiting for teams to pitch around Davis more. Hasn't really happened yet ... only 38 walks, which is pittance considering that Matt Weiters hits behind him. Perhaps as the pennant races heat up more, we'll see teams giving him more free passes.

I'm still surprised Buck hasn't moved their order around. But since Davis still sees strikes, or atleast pitches he can get to, there isn't any need. I love the Os lineup, I'd love it more if Roberts were in it for more than a week at a time.
